What we are learning this term:

Autumn Term 2025

We will be covering all sorts this term. In History, we will be looking at the Romans and how they influenced lives in Britain. This will also include a trip to Exeter museum for some Roman workshops and a visit by Toby Stock where children will be able to dress up like a Roman and imagine life as a Roman soldier.

Alongside History, we will be looking at settlements in Geography and finding out why people have settled where they are.

In Science, we will be looking at the properties of materials and carrying out a wide range of experiments where we will be trying not to blow up the school!

Biscuit tasting will be the main theme for DT this term as pupils become budding Great British Bakers and design their own biscuit. Who will get the Holleywood handshake?

As well as all this, we will be creating masterpieces in Art, moral decisions in RE, staying safe in PSHE and practising Dodgeball and Badminton skills in PE.

Not forgetting working towards a Christmas performance at the end of term.

It's going to be an exciting one – busy, but exciting!
